At V180 Media, our goal is to Share Your Story. Our strategy is simple and straight forward. Methods of getting your story to the world have changed dramatically over the years because of Social Media networks such as Twitter and Facebook. We have found that the best way to promote your non-profit or small business is to connect with people through Social Media. Most businesses and non-profits have unseen content that can be brought back to life through these networks. Our template for this strategy is our New Media Guide. Through our New Media Guide, we define your mission, values, target audience, and create an objective for your message.

To share your story, we find an annual theme that we break up quarterly, monthly, and weekly. This strategy provides an easy guideline to follow on what to put out on social media to best share your story. Through our New Media Guide, we have defined social media best practices. At V180 Media, we have found that a consistent use of social media networks keeps your message in front of your audience.  To be effective, we suggest Tweeting 4-10 times per day, Facebook update once a day, LinkedIn once a week, Blogging twice a week with the use of SEO optimation, and e-mail newsletters twice a month. In regards to YouTube and Flickr, we suggest sharing your content as it comes along. Not only do we provide you with this guideline to follow, but we combine all of your content in an easily accessible format.

One of the tools we use to implement a New Media Guide is HootSuite. This is a social media dashboard that combines all social network platforms in one place for easy updating and monitoring. To gain the content, we utilize GoogleReader. This tool allows us to subscribe to industry related pages, competitors, and partners on one page so we can find interesting and relevant content quickly to deliver to social media networks. To keep the team accountable, we have found Teamly to be very useful and organized. At V180 Media, we utilize Teamly to set goals for the team and measure outcomes and productivity.
